Why leather lining matters
Leather lining is one of the details that can make a difference in the way a shoe adapts to the foot. Because leather is a natural material, it can soften gradually with use and care.

The cream technique
If the shoe has a full leather lining, apply a small amount of classic cream, such as the traditional blue tin Nivea, to the inside area where the shoe is causing pressure.
Use only a small amount. Spread it carefully with your finger and apply it directly to the points where the shoe feels tight. You can massage the area gently, but the most important thing is to distribute the cream evenly.
After applying the cream
After applying the cream, put the shoes on and walk around the house for as long as it feels comfortable. If the pressure has not improved after 24 hours, the process can be repeated carefully.
This simple method can help give new life to shoes that might otherwise be left aside. After all, when a pair has quality, design and character, it deserves to be worn.
